Organization

Overview

This is the organizational grouping the users, such as a company or association.

It is related to the internet domain:

• A domain name can only be associated to one organization (it is not possible to have multiple organizations sharing the same domain name)
• An organization can have multiple domain names

Billing is done at the organization level.

Organization fields

Field	Criticality	Description
Name	Required	Descriptive name of the company. By default it is the domain name from your email address. It can be changed at anytime.
Azure Tenant ID	Required	36 characters ID of the Azure tenant. It is required for using Uplink features, but it can be skipped during the organization's creation.
Domain Names	Optional	Allow new users with these domains in their email to be automatically linked to this organization. Multiple domains can be added, separated with a comma (ex: domain1.com, subdomain.domain2.org). Only domains and subdomains of the email or the Azure tenant domain are allowed. onmicrosoft.com subdomains are not supported.
Prevent User Signup	Optional	Default: False. If checked: prevents users in the organization's domains to sign-up on Datascaphe (they can still be added by an admin). See Accounts & Roles.
Auto Add Users	Optional	Default: false. If checked: users who sign-up on Datascaphe with an email in the organization's domains will automatically be added to your organization. See Accounts & Roles.
Contact Name	Required for billing	Name of the contact person for billing.
Contact Email	Required for billing	Email of the contact person for billing.
Contact Phone	Optional	Phone of the contact person for billing.
Organization address	Required for billing	Physical Address of the establishment for biliing
